‘This is the story of how skateboarding came to Palestine…’

Epicly Palestine’d is the story of how skateboarding arrived in Palestine – and the difference it has made to young people in the West Bank.

Head over heels – a scene from Epicly Palestine’d

‘A small group of Palestinian teenagers gain the attention of the skateboarding world when they create a skate scene from scratch in the heart of the West Bank – a place where you can’t even buy a skateboard – whilst facing the challenges of living under a military occupation.

We’ll be screening this wonderful documentary on 19 April at 7.30pm at Whitstable Labour Club – and we’re lucky to have one of the directors there for a Q&A.

It’s a beautifully made, upbeat film that will leave you with a smile on your face and a spring in your step.
